When overwhelming darkness clouds my eyes

I look to the stars to see beyond the lies

But in this moment I feel opposing things

Something cloudy seeping in and a truth deep within,

Where do you find truth when lost along the way?

Little pieces of it all thrown away.

Mind traps await and I glitch through

Sand traps await and I slip through

Stop the insanity before it’s to late

Act on inner words or ignore your fate

For destiny lies inside your tries.

But with no motivation to see what lies ahead

Escape to the unknown, untamed inside my head

Underneath the covers of an empty bed
